Back from Vacation…

And I think I picked up a bit of a flu or cold bug on the plane, so I’m feeling a little sluggish on my first day back.

That, and hearing the news of the death of a friend has put me in a more contemplative, less industrious mood.

On the plus side, David and I returned home safe, no luggage was lost and no gadgets were broken. We had a great two week visit with family, and fantastic warm weather while we were there. Now, I’m glad to be home, and I’m looking forward to a little more normality, and a lot more peace and quiet.

Tagging for Instant Traffic

Some folks are on the ball and already emailed me asking how I could get enough money to pull in Adsense cash on the Niche Products Monthly sites before the search engines fully indexed them. One person guessed PPC, but I have to admit I don’t have the time to keep an eye on PPC traffic well enough to make it worth while… or even to make sure I don’t lose my shirt on unproductive clicks, so I don’t use PPC.

I get instant traffic by playing tag.

I use community bookmarking services like Yahoo’s My Web and del.icio.us to tag individual articles with relevant keywords. Not the front page, mind you, just individual articles. This produces a temporary surge in targeted traffic that will give you a good idea of how well your ads are placed for optimum CTR.

Do this with any new content added to your new sites in the next few weeks, and you’ll have a steady flow of traffic until the search engines pick up all the pages.

There ya go. My first full fledged tip of the new year.

My First Purchase of the New Year

Well, it had to come some time.

I bought my first Internet Marketing product of the new year.

Actually, it’s a subscription site, and it’s a good one.

It’s called “Niche Products Monthly“, and for the same price other membership sites will ask for a few hundred articles, or two or three products, Niche Products Monthly offers 3 really clean, well edited private label ebook products, a sales letter and graphics to get you started with each of them really fast, 150 private label articles, plus a pre-written autoresponder series and PPC ads
for each of the three niches, three complete adsense sites, keyword lists, and a minimum of 5 other products with master resell rights.

So far, I’ve edited and posted two of the Adsense sites and one of the ebooks, and already made my first few Adsense bucks from the sites. The sites look like they’re being built by BigMike from the Warrior forum, and if you’ve ever bought one of his Adsense sites, you know that they are totally amazing at getting targetted search engine traffic and converting that traffic to Adsense clicks.

In fact, the first site I ever purchased from Big Mike got indexed in Google within 2 days of putting it online made back the 17 bucks I spent on it in the first 15 days. If you’re curious about the site, send me an email and I’ll send the URL.

But getting back to Niche Products Monthly, this looks to be by far the most valuable Private Label site I’ve joined thus far, and while I’m still sticking tightly with Private Rights Articles 1 and 2, I dropped my membership in Private Rights Success in favor of this one. Hey, I’d love to join them all, but there are only so many hours in a busy girl’s day.

There’s only 750 spots available in this membership site, so if you’re interested, pop in and check it out. It’s a great place to start building your Adsense and niche product empire.

Happy New Year

Well, it’s the new year, and I’m busy paying affiliates and figuring out my revenues for last month… not my favorite chore, but it needs to get done.

So, I’ll take a break and wish you a great new year, whatever your goals may be.

My goals include spending more time with my three year-old son, spending more time visiting family, and saving - rather than spending - more of the profits I make from Internet Marketing.

Looking back on last year, I made some great gains in the revenue department with the release of Public Domain Explorer. After buying Adsense Gold in late December 2004, my AdSense income increased substantially for 2005 as I honed my ad colours and placement. And for the last two months my Clickbank earnings have been steadily increasing because of ContextCash.

I have a super duper programmer at my disposal who has created some time saving applications to help me get through my ‘real work’ faster, and some new software I’ve picked up in the past 12 months has helped speed up my online income generation efforts.

In particular,

The first things on the menu for the current year are to release Software Site Builder, and start work on my next product.

Oh, incidentally, if you had a chance to check out my Christmas list and drool over the lighted massaging lounger, let me assure you that it is even better than it sounds. Put it on your list for next year. Seriously.
